Breast Health at First AME Church

A few days ago, Paige, Melanie, and Melissa set up a table for breast health at the wonderful Community Resource and Health Fair!

Because of partnering with ARMC Breast Health and the CORE Grant, we were able to provide breast health education, clinical breast exams, and mammograms on site.

Here are some statistics from the event:

• Over 200 people attended
• Over 60 women received breast health information
• Melissa performed 13 clinical breast exams
• 6 women had mammograms

It was an impressive turnout, and we are so grateful to be able to spread awareness about breast health to all the women in the Athens community!
